Grilled marlin was old/strong bad fishy odor/inedible. Great location, friendly staff, reasonable price, first restaurant in the row, but keep walking (other options must be better).

This little Mom and Pop restaurant with its Caribbean style (red, green, yellow plaid) plastic tablecloths, plastic chairs but charming. For about 10€ you can order from the lunch menu (petit faim) with set combinations that include planteur (rum punch) appetizer, entrée, and dessert. for a normal person it's enough food. The best part is that it's on the beach. By 2:00 they are closing down for the day.

They don't speak English but with my limited French and lots of acting we managed a full meal including wine and ice cream. Accommodating. Thanks.

The restaurant was packed (it opens only during the day). We spotted a vacant table and enjoyed a 4-course lunch. The first course is a small but very powerful rum and lime drink, which we ordered without any sugar or syrup. A great start. Next came the ubiquitous accras (small spherical cod fritters). For my main course I chose 'fricassee de ouissous', in other words Prawn Fricassee. To my amazement this not only included three huge tiger prawns but the sauce was superb. I mopped up the last drops with some bread. Was the meal over? No, we ended with banana flambe, which was lit at the table. It is hard to imagine more splendid value for 10 euros. Very enjoyable.

Good location but that's where the good ends. Plastic chairs and tables, slow and surly service. Average prices.
