The restaurant was packed (it opens only during the day). We spotted a vacant table and enjoyed a 4-course lunch. The first course is a small but very powerful rum and lime drink, which we ordered without any sugar or syrup. A great start. Next came the ubiquitous accras (small spherical cod fritters). For my main course I chose 'fricassee de ouissous', in other words Prawn Fricassee. To my amazement this not only included three huge tiger prawns but the sauce was superb. I mopped up the last drops with some bread. Was the meal over? No, we ended with banana flambe, which was lit at the table. It is hard to imagine more splendid value for 10 euros. Very enjoyable.
