What a charming hotel. Beautifully decorated in a typical Spanish style. This is a small hotel in a quite location 10 to 15 minutes walk from the old village centre with some superb restaurants. Our bedroom was of a good size with a lovely bathroom & was kept very clean. The balcony was very small & on top of a roof but the views made up for any shortcommings. Road access is good with plenty of signs from the town centre.
The swimming pool is set in lovely grounds & is wonderful (but not heated). The staff are all extremely friendly & very efficient. The breakfast was very good with all types of food for every type of traveler.
This hotel represents great value for money.
I would not hesitate to go back, if fact I will return as soon as possible.

Lovely four day stay at this very authentic hotel. Thoughtfully restored with lovely large bedrooms in a very peaceful location not far from the stunning hillside Altea. Staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely pool with plenty of sun beds and shade.

The staff were always helpful. We were given the biggest hotel room we have ever had. It was on the top floor with beautiful views over the neighbouring Nespero orchard to the Sierras. The included breakfast was very generous.
We wanted to be near the old city which was a short walk way.
You are not on the water front but for us that was a positive as we were away from the crowds

Room Tip: Top floor in the corner gave us an amazing room

It is a not really an upscale location for the nice hotel that Tossal is. But the hotel is beautiful and the staff is very kind. The hotel has a many nice places in the shade outside were it is nice to enjoy some wine or eat. There is a nice and good kept pool at the hotel.
The rooms are very traditional and beautiful and the bathroom is spacious and has an excellent shower.

Family run place. Room simple furnished with authentic Spanish decor. Large, comfy beds. Thin walls but no big problem. Cosy hall and lounge area. Dinner served in atmospheric restaurant, good value for money. Breakfast plain, quality OK. No service or fill-up is provided during breakfast so make sure you arrive early. Friendly front desk service. Nice outdoor pool area. The 10 min walk to town is no trouble as there is pavement and street lightning.

Room Tip: Room 106 has nice views towards the mountains.
