This restaurant is worth the climb up the steps from the beach area to the old town, with stunning views over the sea from the terrace. The atmosphere is terrific, the service excellent and the food good, albeit a little pricey. However, if it's the ambience and memories of Altea that you want to remember, then this restaurant is well worth a visit. Just make sure you reserve or get a table on the terrace!!

OK, they have a very nice roof terrace, but what you get on your plate is more important. The spare ribs (costilla) with BBQ sauce where acceptable but that was it. No vegetables, no potatoes, no fries, etc. Same with the (steak) solomillo. We paid 180€ for 4 persons which was too expensive for the food received....

Restaurant is small and a bit cramped. The view of the Altea bay from the terrace is very nice, how ever the food/meals are average and extremely over priced. The service was average, nothing special. You are paying for the view!!! Don't waste your money, there are many better restaurants in Altea.

I had the pork, supposed to come with Saigon style woked vegetables. It was all drowned in a brown sauce with no specific taste. Meat was tender but didn't really taste too much either. The service was good, tho - very friendly and pleasant waitress. We sat outside on the veranda and enjoyd the view of the ocean with the sun setting inland - fabulous colurs and then the glittering lights of Benidorm - which is such an ugly city during the day - showing up in the distance. Nice place for a glass of wine, but the menu was small an not really tempting me.

Got our food after one hour waiting, and it was stone cold. Asked for a hot one and got it back half the size it was before. Just order a big desert was the waiters solution for my problem of still having hunger finishing the very very little microwaved version of my plate....
Never will come back again.
