We stayed in room 30 from 8th July for one week. It was our third time in Greece this year and turned out to be one of the best short breaks we have had. This place is spotlessly clean, very well Managed and excellent value for money for drinks and meals round the pool. We enjoyed the Greek night, it was good food and the dancers were on for most of the night and did a great job entertaining about 50 of us. We never waited more than a few seconds to be served a drink all week. The lovely Guys and Girls behind the bar do a great job with the snacks and drinks. Very important to us and surprised that more people do not mention the pool area and sun lounges. We got a sun longer every time we wanted one and all of them have thick mattresses (better than any 5 star hotel we've been to) its a great place to spend a few hours around the pool area. The ladies who do the cleaning are fantastic and have a smile and a wave every time you see them. The rest of the Staff are also fantastic with NO EXCEPTIONS. We'll be back for sure.

Room Tip: All the rooms here are excellent

The food is very good and the drinks are a very reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and helpful with anything you need. The bar at night is great and all the bar tenders are very friendly and funny. A really enjoyable stay all round :) x

The apartments were a bit dated but clean and good value for money. Very friendly staff who cleaned the rooms every day except Sunday although bed linen was not changed but just folded neatly. Couple of quirky things...the chap that owns the place is not exactly a 'friendly front of house' character....a bit grumpy and easily irritated; for some reason, the fridge in the room kept being turned down and I was left with the impression that they were trying to save on the electricity bill as we were told it was not allowed for us to plug in our fan. That said, the breakfasts in the bar were good value, the whole complex kept very clean and situated near enough to Kos town to walk in along the sea front and plenty of nice bars and restaurants near by in the sea shore. Would recommend.

The position of the apartments makes the city centre accessible by foot, bus or taxi. But the apartments do have a bar/café on site which is reasonably priced and the range of meals suit everybody. The staff are great and helpful. will be going back again soon.

Room Tip: 1 bed apartments are recommended. Air con is payable locally and recommended in the summer months

Stayed here for a week at the start of July with my sister and had a fantastic time! It was my first time in Greece and their reputation as warm and friendly hosts was one held true by the wonderful staff at the Nicon complex. On our very first night at nearly 1am we were met by Arthur (properly pronounced by Ar-tuur but he doesn't seem to mind the English way) and there was immediately greetings and hugs from a guest who had stayed there the yr before. This was a common theme during the week as holidaymakers arrived, there were hugs and kisses as people returned for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th visit!
Although the accommodation is basic it's clean and the atmosphere at the pool bar makes up for any shortfall! Open from 9am -2am and serving food for the majority, it's definitely the highlight of the Nicon! The bar staff in particular Arthur and Donardo (apologies for spelling!) were so friendly learning our names and talking to us every day/night. The food at the bar is good too and handy for breakfast/lunch. There's also free wifi round the pool which was great. The bar also does activities most night like a quiz and bingo that are really fun that we found ourselves heading back to the pool bar each night to finish the night rather than looking for anywhere else to have a drink! Would really recommend the Greek night as for €10 great value for lovely food and entertainment! Best hummus I've ever had!!
The Nicon is very close to shops restaurants and the beach which is literally at the end of the road. Kos Town is about a half hour walk but for €7 taxi if you don't feel like a trek! Majority of tourists seem to rent bikes as bike trails round the island! If I was coming back I would def stay here again and have been recommending to my friends!
