“Reasonable prices, Good service and good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 December 2011

Reasonable prices and a great dessert buffet. Selected the Xmas promotion menu, but in retrospect this was not such a great choice Local dishes (a la carte) would have been a better choice

“Great Food and Enthusiastic Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2011

Because this is a training facility the "staff" can sometimes appear a little uncertain but there is always a tutor/trainer keeping a sharp eye on them. Particularly near the start of term (which I believe is late October) this can result in hesitant front of house service, but do not let that put you off. The food produced from the college kitchens is very impressive, particularly at the price - you will pay a LOT more in most other Macanese establishments offering the same level of cuisine, with some places (the Beaux Art at the MGM for one) making London look cheap in comparison.

We started with a superb caipirinha on the balcony overlooking the park before moving into the cool, stylish dining area and tackling some seriously ambitious food. The mussels with leeks and cream were a standout as was the grilled sole with a red wine, bacon and mushroom sauce, but to be honest nothing disappointed, and the wine list ranges over all of Portugal with some serious bottles available if money is no object.

“Nice ambience & service but a little overpriced for the content.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 November 2011

Checkin to the hotel on 11/11/11 nite & tried their buffet wif my hubby & 3yr old girl after reading the good reviews at Tripadvisor. The ambience was cozy & relaxed with good service. I am new to Macaunese & Portuguese food so this is a good trial. Food tasted ok but the price is a little high in terms of content (dun expect oyster & lobster here) I was informed via email during reservation that hotel guests would received 10% disc off the food bill, but was disappointed at checkout to be told that its not applicable on buffet. Felt misled but didn't want to peruse though I hv the email printout. It does affect my overall satifaction with the hotel though.

“Awesome veal!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 November 2011

My friends and I went today and had a great time. The business executive lunch sets were well worth the $180MOP. The spinach puree + blue cheese was super yummy. The veal was excellent. The dessert buffet (especially the guava ice cream) was refreshing.

“A great discovery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 October 2011

This is a great example of a restaurant which we would not have discovered if it was not for TripAdvisor! The fact that it is listed as number 1 in Macau drew our attention and, after looking at their website, we booked for dinner. There was a very warm and friendly welcome at the restaurant from the students and their tutors.

We chose the tasting menu - as we find that a good way of trying out a new restaurant and having an enjoyable meal. We also ordered a good bottle of Portuguese wine from their excellent wine list. They have an impressive cellar by the entrance to the restaurant.

The food was impressive, the service was first class and, above all, it was very good value. There is also no tax and service on the final bill!
