Owner description: From the moment you step into the glass-fronted elevator, you are in for a treat. Soar up the tower to a breathtaking 223 meters in under 60 seconds. Phew! Watch Macau take shape beneath your feet as you travel up. There’s so much to see – the Macau skyline changes so quickly. Enjoy amazing 360° views from the level 58 Observation Lounge over a “Cafe on 4” coffee, and treat the kids to a tasty ice cream or a soft drink. Then take your Macau Tower experience up another level! A serious adrenaline rush awaits you on the level 61 Adventure Deck. Take an outdoor Skywalk, or Bungy Jump from the tower with world-famous A.J. Hackett’s Urban Adventures. Do you dare?

“Skywalk X: worth doing once, and great pictures”
Reviewed 15 April 2012

Took a group of 14 co-workers to Skywalk X, where you harness (like a rock-climbing harness) into a track that encircles the 61/F observation deck of the Macau Tower. The whole experience is run by some company called AJ Hackett which I hadn't heard of before. On the one hand, US$88/person seemed pricy but on the other hand if it was really cheap I'd be too scared to go out. I figured the Macau government couldn't risk a bad disaster on this iconic attraction so I figured this thing is pretty scrutinized for safety. The whole operation was professional and inspired confidence. It is a bit scary for people who are scared of heights but if you don't try to do anything crazy and just walk along the path (about 1 meter wide) you'll be fine. The guide leads you along and stops frequently for pictures. It's very picture-centric and they give you a CD with the all the pictures afterwards. All-in-all, worth doing once, even for jaded travelers who try to avoid "touristic" experiences like this one. And one of my co-workers even did the bungy jump afterwards!
