The decoration is all in red and gold, bit annoying. Sashimi is excellent, very fresh. You think you are eating in Japan. Sushi is good too. Teppenyaki is up to standard. Their own Umeshu is excellent. Worth going.

Situated at the first floor of Wynn palace, the location and surrounding is not impressive and does not live up to the hype expected of a Michelin star restaurant. Beside the centre piece of deco, the rest of the sitting arrangement reminds me of a standard cafe with 2 Teppanyaki table. The food is good but the portion is extremely small in ratio for the price you have to pay. No complains about the service and kudos to the General Manager Mototsugu Asada who is very friendly and open to customer input on their experiences in his restaurant...

After my lasting memory with previous rendezvous at the Mizumi of Wynn Palace, I decided to self indulge mysef again at this place in this early spring. The restaurant was still authentically inviting to any individual who wanted to step into the doorway of fine dining nirvana.

I started the unique wagyu tomato salad as well as the crispy sour tile fish. To compliment my Australian wagyu and shortrib and chicken tsukune, I had a small glass of black stallion cabernet sauvignon. Be honest, I wished a glass of Caymus instead but the place only offered the Caymus in a bottle.

I also had my favorite abalone chawanmushi and the sweet potato, asparagus and anago tempura. To come along with the tempura, I had the Hokkaido milk curd.

I completed this trip with an icy cold bottle of San Pelligrino and complimentary dessert.

Again, the staff had been very helpful. It was another great expereince.
