We stayed at this lovely hotel for one evening at the end of April.

Our room was #206 in the newer wing and it was large and comfortable. The room had a private terrace that overlooked Lake Como and gave you the sensation of being right on the lake. The room was quiet and there was adequate parking for the car. Also, in this wing was a wonderful large terrace with incredible views of lake and mountains. There were umbrellas and lawn chairs provided for you to relax and enjoy the views. You could also bring up drinks to sip on while relaxing.

The food at the dinner and breakfast restaurants was delicious with many options to choose from. We found all staff to be welcoming, helpful and cheerful.

Stayed here again for two nights in April. Weather wasn't great but the welcome and service were as warm as ever. We stayed in one of the superior rooms in the new building and loved every minute of it. Two nights just wasn't long enough..

My husband and I are just finishing what has been the most delightful 4 days of our trip through Italy, having booked this hotel on the reviews of trip advisor travelers. The motel is easily reached via the c30 bus for a few euros which departs form both intercity and metro railway stations in Como and takes about 40 minutes to drop off at the door.
Attention to the fine detail and location is what has made this a top hotel for us. The staff were friendly and helpful at every opportunity. Our room has the tranquil lapping the lake outside our bedroom window, with a most magnificent view of a snow capped mountain staring at us as we relax and sip on our Chiantis. The spaciousness and decor of the room, internal heating system, comfortable lounges and bed helped make the cold rainy days we experienced here also enjoyable.
Breakfast room and bar have lovely finishing touches in lavender and white, with breakfasts just delicious with fresh tea and coffee made to order, fresh fruit, and any assortment of continental delicacies. I noticed even gluten free is provided. Highly recommended

We stayed at Hotel Aurora for most of a week in April and were very pleased with the hotel and found the service to be outstanding. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean, with a staff that went out of its way to assist in whatever possible. While we were in the older, original hotel and the room was smaller, it still had a small balcony and a wonderful view of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains.

Few ferries visit Lezzeno daily in the off season months, so if you do not have a car, getting around might be a bit of an issue. This is the one down side that I could see to staying at this hotel. We had rented a car, however, and benefited from the free parking. Bellagio is the next town, so you're strategically located to easily get anywhere on the lake.

We also took full advantage of the hotel's restaurant which is next door. The menu was diverse and the meals wonderful (I had some of the best ravioli that I've ever had!).

All in all, a great visit and I would definitely recommend Villa Aurora.

Room Tip: When you book, you might inquire where your room is located...villa v. original hotel.

Gorgeous little hotel in the small town of Lezzeno in Lake Como. We stayed in one of the Villa rooms on the lake. They are newly decorated in white and pastel tones. There is a balcony from each room which opens out to a larger shared deck area with a gorgeous view of Lake Como. Truly stunning view and one of the closest you can get to the lake. You feel like you are on a movie set!

The rooms have Sky TV which was a big bonus with my sports loving husband!

The staff were so friendly. We were greeted with a warm reception and shown to our rooms straight away. There was parking on site (wonderful as Bellagio was a little trickier regarding the parking).

The only recommendation I would make to the hotel is to have some thicker curtains- one of our room windows looked out to the main road (towards the restaurant) and the street lights were bright at night. I was also concerned people could see in if we had the lights on! This is the only slightly negative comment I have.

Delighful little hotel with welcoming, friendly family service. A true little gem on Lake Como. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
