“Amazing !”
Reviewed 10 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Our daughter was married in Saul, we needed accommodation for friends and family
The old rectory ticked every box
Claire answered my many questions promptly and Leah was on hand if needed
We had a fabulous four night stay, the morning of the wedding was amazing, so much room to accommodate everyone
Amazing location, just a hop, skip and a jump from Strangford lough, beautiful area, ferry to Portaferry on the doorstep
Don't hesitate to book this property, you won't be disappointed

“Excellent and exceptional”
Reviewed 27 January 2016 for a stay in November 2015

Our stay at the old Rectory was even better than anticipated. From the really friendly and informative owner to the excellent quality of everything in the house, to the beautiful grounds.. everything exceeded our expectations. Living areas were luxurious yet so comfortable, beds were exceptionally comfortable and cosy, Bathroom facilities were excellent and numerous and the location is perfect as you are so close to shops but feel like you are in your own country estate.

I'd recommend this property to groups of friends, families, in fact anyone would be happy and enjoy their time here. No description of the property would do it justice.. Go and stay and see for yourself.. you will not be disappointed..

“Magnificent House with lovely grounds.”
Reviewed 2 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

My extended family occupied this house over the Christmas period and we had a wonderful time.
The house is spacious with various living rooms for the younger ones to escape, whilst the huge kitchen with open fire is a terrific space to cook and talk with family and friends. Top quality, warm conservatory/extension, not at all the drafty space which tends to be the norm. It was hard to drag ourselves away for the glorious Castle Ward walking trails. The property was spotless and had fairy lights and a Xmas tree on arrival and fire stuff to start us off and a warm welcome from Leah. This period house gave us all a taste of grand house country living and we will definitely return.

“What a fabulous place to stay!”
Reviewed 22 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

What a lovely house! Plenty of room for all ten of us in a lovely setting. We were met by Leah Anne- very friendly and had plenty of information about the house and it's many facilities - but as we were only there for one night we didn't use most of them. We were dining in The Cuan (a two minute walk down the hill and a lovely meal!) and had breakfast there as well - but the kitchen had everything necessary had we decided to host a major dinner party instead!

This is a huge property, which is great for large groups, maybe a couple of families - the gardens are lovely and would be perfect for children.
