We have just returned from a week in this hotel. It was our second visit and the owner remembered us and put us back in the same room. The rooms are air conditioned.....essential in the heat and are spacious with TV, sofa and a safe. The bathroom has a full size bath. I think that there are upgrade rooms but I am not sure why you would need one. Breakfasts are buffet style with a selection of a few hot dishes and then many fruits, meats, cereals, pastries, cheeses and an excellent nesprseeo coffee machine. Breakfast is served until mid-day! We love the location as it is a 15 minute walk to a lovely beach and in the evening it is a similar walk to Palamos sea front. There are lots of restaurants in Palamos and places to shop, have coffee or an ice-cream. The hotel grounds are pretty and well-presented with a hot tub and a small pool in which to cool off after a hot day on the beach. Plenty of seats, loungers and swing seats to sit in and relax. We just love this place. Although we are a couple with grown up children there were children in the hotel who were obviously welcome judging by the high chairs in the restaurant. There are no evening meals but there is a nice bar where coffee and drinks are available throughout the day.

Room Tip: We were in the new wing room 112 .....it is lovely but cannot comment on the rooms in the restored older part of the hotel.

The hotel itself is a quaint, historic building a short walk from the waterfront in Palamos. The room was clean, the staff was very kind and the free wifi in the room worked perfectly. Great for couples or those looking for a quiet place to lay their head down. If I am ever back in Palamos I will definitely stay here again.

We have spend 4 nights
in this hotel. The number 1 thing of the hotel is that the hotel staff is very friendly! They did everything to make our stay pleasant. You feel very safe and welcomed here. The rooms and property is very quiet, clean and well taken care of. Also the decoration is well chosen and fits to the beautiful maintained building. Every morning the breakfast is terrific and also the diner is from great quality ( and prices are really good). Everyday we went to the beach (18 min walk). Restaurants in Palamos are also 15 min walk but we liked to be in a quiet area so we did not mind. The pool is great after a beach day to relax and is cleaned/maintained every day! For us the room was a bit small (-/+ 15 mtrs) and the bed was a to hard ( and small for us Dutchies).
But this is something personal. So if you like hard beds and little bit of a walk that this is a beautiful & great place to stay!!!!

We have stayed here many times over the last 13 years and always have a wonderful time. The hotel is always so clean, the rooms are very good and the garden (with Pool) is very relaxing. Breakfast gives so much choice that everyone should be happy. It is great for couples and for families
. Merche and Pepe, their family and staff are fantastic. Thanks again to all of you and see you soon.

A lovely, small hotel just a short walk from the bustling harbour of this lively (in a nice way!) resort. The standard bedroom was spacious, well decorated and very clean. Breakfast served until midday - very civilised. Buffet style and even at 11.30 there was still a full choice, hot, cold, cereals, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruits and pastries. Pool and gardens clean, tidy and a nice area to sit and relax. I agree about the parking, not easy in the street and the hotel car park is small but for an extra few euros a cool, secure, big garage is just a few yards down the road. Best of all were the staff. All the staff were really happy to help and honestly wanted you to enjoy your stay. I have no reservations in recommending this hotel if you want a few days or a longer holiday in Palamos.
