Returning to O Grove after a decade we were really excited in having a dinner at El Crisol and repeat the fantastic experience of 13 years ago. Sadly we were informed that the restaurant where we had, with no doubt, one of the best seafood of our lives was definitely closed. Well…following a tip from a local we decided to try the Solaina and we were not disappointed!
We started with some oysters that were very fresh, then we order some “vieiras” (scallop) but not backed as they usually serve but “a la plancha” (grilled) and they tasted excellent, at the end a mixed seafood plate consisting of “cigalas” (crayfish), prawns, shrimps and a very delicious “a la plancha” lobster served with a good Albariño wine. Fully satisfied, but El Crisol was in a higher level. Anyway, we fully recommend it and surely you will not be disappointed.
