Our stay at Corfu Palace Hotel was very good. The hotel is in a particularly good location, only 5 minuets from the town and is open all year round during seasons such as Easter, when many other hotels in Corfu are closed. At Easter we were given complementary gifts such as a lovely terracotta pot, Candles, chocolate rabbits and a lamb shaped cake which we thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. Our room was very large, on the ground floor, and had a small garden area which we spotted many lizards which was great. The room was always kept clean by the maids however the room was often quite warm. We were the first ones to try the huge outdoor pool this season (April time) and it was cold but worth it because of the stunning views of the sea and the sun. The staff are friendly and helpful all around and the hotel was good at organising taxis - we particularly enjoyed Alex the taxi man’s journey to Palaiokastritsa and up to a fantastic panoramic view up the mountain. We also rented bikes for the day and rode them to Vlacherna Monastery. All the rooms have a lovely view of the sea and we saw 4 dolphins at breakfast! The food is great, breakfast has a huge variety of food and a orange juice machine which you can make your own freshly squeezed orange juice - lunch was also delicious and peaceful. The hotel could do with a bit of modernising and small additions such as more plug sockets, however the current furnishings gives it it’s family charm.

This is an overall excellent hotel.Great hospitality , outstanding service , the staff is very friendly and professionals, facilities are high leveled and spacy rooms(Rooms maybe need renovation but still very nice ) . Furthermore location is great only 5' away from city center and without the noise of the city , plus great view to the sea.Absolutely reccomend it for vacation.

Stayed here in March 2018 which is just before season starts in Corfu.  After paying a lot of money for our stay, i was disappointed by the services. No pool till later on in April and no AC though all the paper work says that it should be avaiable. They don't switch it on till later in the year which is ridiculous as not everyone who stays here is from Greece Not what i expected from a 4/5 star hotel. We had to sleep with the terrace door open because it was uncomfortably hot. Breakfast was perfectly okay. Nothing amazing but nothing wrong with it either.  WIFI was really really poor in the room.
Overall, the room was brilliant - cannot fault it and the staff were lovely. Location is ideal for walks around the town. I wouldn't stay here again because of the lack of facilities for the money paid.

I am back after 4 days at this hotel. I am so tempted to give this 4 star, however it will be only fair to be given 3 star.
Let's start with best thing:
It is most centrally located and views of sea are stunning.
Second best thing is:
Friendly staff, but then mostly greeks are friendly.
Now starts all downhill...
This property is probably one of the biggest in Corfu, and current state of building suggests that it must have been a top notch place back in 60s and 70s. Now it needs to be renovated. Building is clean however clearly dated. Room sizes are fabulous, even bathroom is pretty good sized. But lack of things like a kettle is unheard of. It calls itself a 5star property, and it does not have a weighing scale in bathroom. Beds are probably not the most comfortable ones. Breakfast is mediocre at best. Same food choices with limited spread (it needs to really know what a 5 star menu looks like). I even ate at the hotel restaurant and service was not the best (nor the taste was greatest). The AC in room was only blowing hot air. Swimming pool was closed as well.

Will I go and stay here again? Less likely, and if I do so, it will be only for its location and views that it offers.

Room Tip: All rooms are good and offer sea view.

The hotel would have received an excellent review apart from the fact that we struggled to have hot water at the times when we would have liked to take a shower. We are not sure whether this is because we were there out of season and the water heating was not on for a sufficient length of time to provide water for all guests at all times.
