we went back to this fantastic hotel for the 2nd time in a year for my wifes birthday with my wife three children two friends and a couple from my familey on arrival i wasnt let down immaculate clean not a plant out of place. the staff are very pleasant and helpfull we checked in got our wrist bands safe key and off we went to our junior suite oppsite reception our room was set looking down over the whole of the hotel grounds above the main buffet restaurant the room was very large one double bed two single beds and a cot the balcony was huge too. I think we landed a better room this time round!. Well the week started well very hot the food was of the same high standered i remember from when were here in july the kids loved the pool and games with the animation team i enjoyed relaxing watching the children. Second day went into my safe in the room and took out twenty euros to buy my two boys a water gun each for in the pool counted the rest of my money put it back into my man bag locked the safe and went down to the pool for the day. After a wonderfull day we returned to the room showred got ready to go to the asian restaurant for dinner went too my safe to get some money out for a few drinks in the sports bar while the children play on the bouncy castles unlocked the safe took out my man bag unzipped it and too my horror my remaining 395 euros were gone i was speechless the safe was locked the room was iocked the balcony door was locked i could not belive it we then went to reception too report our money being stolen out off a locked safe. The duty manager was summond very quickley along with our rep. The duty manager tried to tell me there is only one key per safe and when the safe is not in use the keys are locked away we filled out a report for the hotel a report for thomas cook and a phone call to the local police we then went for dinner to the lovley asian restaurant not that i was in the mood for eating. Next day sunday the hotel manager comes in on her day off to see us she was very nice and understanding and assured us there was only one key per safe but promised to look into our theft she also got her driver to take me too the police station in las americas to fill out the police report and bring me back. I had five days of my holiday left and the staff around the hotel are polite kind and cannot do enough for you the food is excellent the drink is good the hotel grounds are immaculate the rooms are clean and off a very good standared the day time games around the pool are brill my children love it as does my wife so i would not let one sneeky thief spoil my view of this hotel and will be going back but next time travellers cheques will be in the safe. To clear things up nothing but the cash was taken out of the safe gold bracelet digital camera passports etc were not touched the safe was locked when we left and locked when we arrived back. I also think the hotel could do with an atm on site as the nearest one is a ten euro taxi ride in adeje the hotel also offered to claim the money back on their insurance for us which i thought was a nice gesture.

We got back from the Bahia Principe a couple of days ago and are missing it so much. This was the most amazing week in a perfect hotel. We arrived around 10 o'clock at night after a 2 hour trip from the airport (which should have only taken 20 minutes-we recommend you use a private taxi rather than transfer bus like we did) so we weren't in the best of moods but that all changed as soon as we stepped off the coach and saw this beautiful hotel. Everything about it is perfect, gorgeous interior, gardens, swimming pools, restaurants, list goes on..... We had a standard room which was a nice size, big, clean & airy with a lovely view over the pool and out on to the sea. Little decieving on the website as it does say beach front location, which it is but it's not really much of a beach but once you're in the hotel you won't want to go anywhere else. We didn't anyway!! With all inclusive on all food & drink in all restaurants why would you go anywhere else?!! Every morning you have the choice of 2 restaurants for a buffet breakfast (definitely recommend the italian, omlettes of your choice made in front of you so nice & fresh), then lunch is a choice of 3 buffet restaurants and dinner the choice of 3 again, plus 3 evenings out of the week we were there we were entitled to book into 3 of the 5 speciality restaurants. We chose Italian, Mexican & Asian which were buffet starters and then you choose a main course from a set menu. All 3 were delicious!! They do have a choice of seafood & spanish restaurants aswell, which we didn't get to try. During the day we lay by the pool all day as it was mainly a vacation to relax but for anyone who would rather be keeping active they have alot going on. The staff come around the pool in the morning inviting you to join in in games, competitions, aqua aerobics (not as annoying as it sounds, we actually got quite used to them coming around inviting us although only joined in once on the aqua aerobics which was fun). For the evenings, there is entertainment each night from around half 9 (which is a band doing well known covers) playing out on the terrace area while you're having drinks so we went there each night but they did have alot of shows going on in another area of the hotel, such as Grease the musical and a chinese circus style show which we heard was very good. Anyway without going on too much more, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone, couples or families. We want to make this a yearly holiday. We passed some other nice hotels on the way to Bahia but none compared to this so we can't imagine going anywhere else!

This was our first stay in Tenerife and our first all inclusive. We were a little worried about Tenerife but were absolutely knocked out when we got to the Hotel, like others we had a quick trip into Los Cristianous, and got out as quickly as we could. Yes this Hotel is remote as pointed out by a previous review but there are plenty of beautiful walks all around the hotel. The food is great, with the option of using 3 of the 5 al carte restaurant if you are there for a week, this is a must, the fish and Italian were our favourites. The staff were wonderful, and seemed to have collective OCD when it came to cleaning, every time you turned around someone was cleaning something. Lovely pools and bar area, as we went out of term time there were not many older children, but there were some tiny tots, whose parents were fantastic, a credit to the British for once. Because of the price you don't tend to get the rowdies, this was borne out by the lovely peace and quiet that descended after about 1230. Lovely relaxing holiday.

My boyfriend and I booked this holiday only a week before going and read the reviews on trip advisor. We wouldnt fault it, the service was friendly and always serviced with a smile. There was a good choice of breakfast food, ranging from an egg chef to a hot buffet, Cereals, cakes, pancakes, fresh fruit and for those that enjoy cold meat and cheese in the morning!
Lunch was serviced in three different places and again choice was good. Salad was always fresh and went down nicely with a beer or wine! The pool bar services Hotdogs, burgers, pizza, roast chicken, chips, ice creams etc. Here you could also service yourself drinks (hot and cold).
Dinner, main buffet or a choice of restarants(3 per week) We ate in the Mexican (located in the sister hotel), Italian and Seafood. All nice and starters were buffet style, which gave you a chance to try different things!
There was a great selection of drinks serviced at the bar or located on stands so you could service yourself. Mainly local sprits and beer. Champagne, (sparkling wine!) was service at breakfast aswell as throughout the day.
The Rooms where cleaned daily and restocked with soft drinks and a large bottle of water.
The hotel setting was very pretty and set out well. The swimming pools are nice and big but not heated! Be perpared to freeze but it was re freshing.
On a whole my boyfriend and I would return and recommend this to friends and family.

This is a fantastic hotel, We had a large room and bathroom in the junior suite, with a lovely pool and sea view from our balcony. The food was excellent, with a great choice every meal. There are three large pools and large sunbathing areas, so no shortage of sunbeds. There is a snack bar near the pool areas which serves all day long. The beer, wine and soft drinks are all help yourself, so no long queues waiting for service. Our mini bar was replenished every day and our room maid was excellent. We couldn't fault this place, lovely rooms, fantastic pools and gardens, and friendly staff. It's first class.
