We got back from the Bahia Principe a couple of days ago and are missing it so much. This was the most amazing week in a perfect hotel. We arrived around 10 o'clock at night after a 2 hour trip from the airport (which should have only taken 20 minutes-we recommend you use a private taxi rather than transfer bus like we did) so we weren't in the best of moods but that all changed as soon as we stepped off the coach and saw this beautiful hotel. Everything about it is perfect, gorgeous interior, gardens, swimming pools, restaurants, list goes on..... We had a standard room which was a nice size, big, clean & airy with a lovely view over the pool and out on to the sea. Little decieving on the website as it does say beach front location, which it is but it's not really much of a beach but once you're in the hotel you won't want to go anywhere else. We didn't anyway!! With all inclusive on all food & drink in all restaurants why would you go anywhere else?!! Every morning you have the choice of 2 restaurants for a buffet breakfast (definitely recommend the italian, omlettes of your choice made in front of you so nice & fresh), then lunch is a choice of 3 buffet restaurants and dinner the choice of 3 again, plus 3 evenings out of the week we were there we were entitled to book into 3 of the 5 speciality restaurants. We chose Italian, Mexican & Asian which were buffet starters and then you choose a main course from a set menu. All 3 were delicious!! They do have a choice of seafood & spanish restaurants aswell, which we didn't get to try. During the day we lay by the pool all day as it was mainly a vacation to relax but for anyone who would rather be keeping active they have alot going on. The staff come around the pool in the morning inviting you to join in in games, competitions, aqua aerobics (not as annoying as it sounds, we actually got quite used to them coming around inviting us although only joined in once on the aqua aerobics which was fun). For the evenings, there is entertainment each night from around half 9 (which is a band doing well known covers) playing out on the terrace area while you're having drinks so we went there each night but they did have alot of shows going on in another area of the hotel, such as Grease the musical and a chinese circus style show which we heard was very good. Anyway without going on too much more, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone, couples or families. We want to make this a yearly holiday. We passed some other nice hotels on the way to Bahia but none compared to this so we can't imagine going anywhere else!

This was our first stay in Tenerife and our first all inclusive. We were a little worried about Tenerife but were absolutely knocked out when we got to the Hotel, like others we had a quick trip into Los Cristianous, and got out as quickly as we could. Yes this Hotel is remote as pointed out by a previous review but there are plenty of beautiful walks all around the hotel. The food is great, with the option of using 3 of the 5 al carte restaurant if you are there for a week, this is a must, the fish and Italian were our favourites. The staff were wonderful, and seemed to have collective OCD when it came to cleaning, every time you turned around someone was cleaning something. Lovely pools and bar area, as we went out of term time there were not many older children, but there were some tiny tots, whose parents were fantastic, a credit to the British for once. Because of the price you don't tend to get the rowdies, this was borne out by the lovely peace and quiet that descended after about 1230. Lovely relaxing holiday.

My boyfriend and I booked this holiday only a week before going and read the reviews on trip advisor. We wouldnt fault it, the service was friendly and always serviced with a smile. There was a good choice of breakfast food, ranging from an egg chef to a hot buffet, Cereals, cakes, pancakes, fresh fruit and for those that enjoy cold meat and cheese in the morning!
Lunch was serviced in three different places and again choice was good. Salad was always fresh and went down nicely with a beer or wine! The pool bar services Hotdogs, burgers, pizza, roast chicken, chips, ice creams etc. Here you could also service yourself drinks (hot and cold).
Dinner, main buffet or a choice of restarants(3 per week) We ate in the Mexican (located in the sister hotel), Italian and Seafood. All nice and starters were buffet style, which gave you a chance to try different things!
There was a great selection of drinks serviced at the bar or located on stands so you could service yourself. Mainly local sprits and beer. Champagne, (sparkling wine!) was service at breakfast aswell as throughout the day.
The Rooms where cleaned daily and restocked with soft drinks and a large bottle of water.
The hotel setting was very pretty and set out well. The swimming pools are nice and big but not heated! Be perpared to freeze but it was re freshing.
On a whole my boyfriend and I would return and recommend this to friends and family.

This is a fantastic hotel, We had a large room and bathroom in the junior suite, with a lovely pool and sea view from our balcony. The food was excellent, with a great choice every meal. There are three large pools and large sunbathing areas, so no shortage of sunbeds. There is a snack bar near the pool areas which serves all day long. The beer, wine and soft drinks are all help yourself, so no long queues waiting for service. Our mini bar was replenished every day and our room maid was excellent. We couldn't fault this place, lovely rooms, fantastic pools and gardens, and friendly staff. It's first class.

I have just arrived back from this hotel,i must say that the negative reviews are shocking and do not give you the right picture of the Costa Ajede.

My Husband and i joined five other couples on a weeks holiday there,i must add the age ranged from 23 to 62!!!

This place is suitable for all, ideal as a couple, friends or a family.

The hotel is only 20 minutes from the airport and first impressions.....Wow!!

The entrance is beautiful and so spotless. The view as you walk in is just crystal blue water as far as the eye can see.

We checked straight in and were shown to our rooms, there are stairs if you wish, but there are lifts in a abundence.

We settled in to a huge room,Nice big wardrobe and Queensize bed (-: The balcony looks over the pools and the sea.

Every room has a stunning view!

Time to check out the bathroom....i have in the past has nightmares with the dodgy shower rooms in past hotels.I was so suprised....a huge bathroom, power shower and huge bath, two sinks and a fully toilet.Bonus as well, toilet roll can be flused and the water is suitable to drink.

We decide to head off to see what the full inclusive has to other.....

The main bar has a full selection of drinks and there is self selection as well, there have everything you could ever want....all day long.

Next to the main bar is the stunning resturant with the terrace looking over the sea. There is always plenty of fresh food and lots of choice.

There are four pools,a childresn one - main heated pool with a walkway and the lower non-heated with the bridge and Jacuzzi.

We never had a problem with sunbeds, even though we needed 12!!

There are three bars over the pool area and a snack bar at the bottom.

You have a place that is like a village on its own,the square offers bars and shopping. There is also entertainment every night and throughout the day at the poolside.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone and am looking to book already (-:

P.S we only landed at 11.40pm 26.03.2010....its that good (-:
