Unlike some cut-price pretentious attempts at fine dining you'll find in the Canaries, this one is the real deal. Refined cookery, intelligent and interesting flavour combinations (pairing Japanese classics with Spanish ingredients worked well), highly-trained and helpful waiting staff. For this reason I've given it 5 out of 5, because it's so much better than other nearby restaurants that get similar marks, but a couple of dishes need improvement - particularly those with meat. The gyoza were lovely and crispy but the pork inside was a little dry, and the grilled iberico pork didn't quite have the melt-in-the-mouth wow factor I was expecting. Maybe they need to choose a fattier, less lean cut. On the other hand, the tuna tartare was fresh with an invigorating wasabi kick, and the panna cotta was delicate and delicious. Overall I'd recommend it if you fancy something a little special and refined.
