10 to 15 minutes from airport under 20 euros in a taxi, the villa had everything we needed and more close to supermarkets and small local bars,15 to 20 minutes stroll to the mainstrip on the sea, front plenty of places to eat, would recommend the Galleon on the front by the taxi rank every meal we had was perfect and the service was spot on also recommend the route 66 for drinks it was!nt expensive and their service was great and a great atmosphere we used taxis to get back to the villa as its a bit hilly,a taxi cost between 3 and 4 euros .where looking at going back next year for a bit of winter sun.
Six of us rented Villa Amanda for one week. Upon arrival the access to the keys was very easy. The villa is in a residential area about 25 minutes walk to the old town and very quite and relaxing. There is a couple of supermarkets ten minutes down the road. When we arrived, unfortunately the pool was very dirty, possibly due to the rain that the area had experienced. The hot tub has seen better days if I'm honest and the water seemed a bit dirty. The outside area was small in comparison to other villas we've stayed in but pleasant enough with sun loungers and outside dining area. Inside the property was clean and the beds were very comfortable although the air conditioning was very annoying as it was in a two hour timer so switched off every two hours. We spent half the night getting up to go and switch it back on again. The write up on the sales site said there was a full sky package - there wasn't! We also had problems with the wifi and in the end, an engineer visited to fix it. All in all the villa has what is needed for a peaceful and relaxing break but some areas need updating as it is looking a bit tired.
