We stayed a week and had a pleasant stay.
The staff are very good, they all work hard and nothing is too much for them.
We got a car to the hotel which I pre booked, next time I will get the 161 Bus, the hotel is not too far the bus is very cheap.
Although the hotel is near the the airport you rarely hear any planes.
The room was basic but clean and tidy, and the air con when needed ( not much in April )was very good, the shower has a good water pressure. If i was to be picky I would have liked larger bath towels, but they will change them each day if you wish.
The pools are clean and serviced every evening . There is a bar near the pool during the day their prices are cheaper to the cocktail bar that opens at 6pm in the hotel.
There is entertainment each evening, I make no complaint at all about it, it was pitched to an older age group who thoroughly enjoyed it ( I am under 60...just). The entertainers I heard( for a short while ) were good and the bar area ( dance area) was very busy, so it works for them.
I had half board and the food is good, again the waiting staff were excellent.
There is Wi Fi but only in the lounge area, please Hotel San Antonio boost the Wi Fi to the whole hotel !!!
One complaint...you pay €12.00 to open a small fridge, I do not understand that!
You can borrow a beach towel for €10 which is refunded. Good option and recommended.
You do not have to hire a car if you do not wish to travel too far , the buses are great, €2,25 for a single 35 km fare..good value
Visit again .....YES
Worth a stay ..YES

It’s a good 4 star hotel nightly entertainment you don’t need to leave the hotel . The bar service is exceptional always prompt to serve you always happy to serve you . Excellent atmosphere around the bar lounge area . Totally comfortable . The afternoon pool bar area also friendly and great service . Attentive staff . I rate the service to be the hotels best asset . I was impressed . Good standard of furnishings food excellent as good as you’ll get anywhere . Spacious rooms . No complaints

We went down to the restaurant for dinner one night out of our weeks holiday and a waiter by the name Jorge Felix was as rude as could be to us. I would not want to see him again next time I come. Another waiter by the name of Coulin Lin if I do remember correctly was very helpful. He was patient when helping us with getting dinner and was very kind to all of us. My recommendation would be to stay away from the hotel restaurant and walk 5 minutes into the center and go to Don Rafael steakhouse

Only about 15 minute trip to and from the airport (with a few stops in between) the hotel was perfectly situated for us, with the beautiful Playa Los Pocillos beach situated right next door and a short walk into town of Puerto Del Carmen. Facilities were well kept so kudos to the housekeeping team. My son loved the swimming pools which were well kept and we had a great view of the sea from our room. The rooms offer a safe and fridge but there is a charge if you are not on all-inclusive but this was only about 20 euros for the week for both. The entertainment sounded great, but we were always too tired to stay and enjoy the full evening lineup. We chose half-board and the food choices were really good as were the professional and amenable staff, especially Martel and Misnelly who kept my son smiling all the time!. Whilst the food was very good we would probably choose B&B next time as we found a lot of great restaurants for lunch that would have been great to see in the evening, we could and did swap lunch/dinner on some days but it was tricky to work around the different excursions we ended up on! To sum up if we returned to Lanzarote and needed a hotel will definitely stay here again!.

Dear howlingcommando,
Thank you very much for the description of your stay with us. I agree the location of the hotel right on the beach and all the bars and restaurants around are very appreciated by our guests.I will pass on your comments to Sr Martel about the good service and the attention to your child. It would be very nice to welcome you back at San Antonio

This was our third time to this hotel. We came with my husband son his girlfriend and our granddaughter. It has not changed very much,my son thought it was really for a older people but there are different ages there. There is not much for children here there is a small playground for small kids. The food is still very good with plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. The snack bar has enough choice for lunch. The three pools are very good with plenty of sunbeds. This hotel is right on the beach but you cannot get to the sea has there are rocks. The rooms are ok with some with bath and others walk in showers,We had a room on the first floor on the left side of hotel with sea view.We all had a great time.

Room Tip: Both sides of hotel have small seaviews
