In the centre close by the castle, we bumped into this place and was glad we did. We had the menú del día which had 3 starters that varied in texture and colour: a vibrant salad, a tortilla stuffed with aubergine and with two sauces, one sweet, one piquant and followed it with the local speciality - arroz con costra, literally a rice with a crust. This main dish was enormous and we couldn't eat it all but the staff were very grateful bulging and wrapped what we couldn't eat to take away with us. Thought we couldn't do dessert but somehow managed the torta de queso con arándanos- cheese cake with cranberries, and this was the creamiest most delicious cheese cake I think I have ever had.
