We were on a road trip through France and this was our first stopThe hotel is located at the top of a lovely square that has many bars and restaurants. There was plenty of parking available. The receptionist was very polite and greeted us warmly despite it being quite late and a bank holiday. The room was very basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. There was an electric point in the bathroom, 2 chairs and a table in the bed area plus a TV and plenty of hanging space with hangers.
Breakfast was only £5 and the views across the river Varenne and Mayenne from the terrace and breakfast room were lovely. Breakfast was classic croissant, French bread, cold meats, tea, coffee and fruit juices.
For a one night stay this was perfect. It is very central to town where you can eat local produce.
I would reccomend this hotel for a short stay.
