I stayed in this hotel for 6 weeks as I was in lyon for business.
Pros:
Decent rooms with kitchen and all required utensils. Good for those who likes to cook.
Courteous staff except one lady who was rude at times.
Bus stop is right outside the hotel.
Car parking is available

Cons:
No dishwasher in the room.
Metro station is 15-20 minutes walk.
Location is nothing great. Takes 20-25 minutes to reach Lyon center.

The hotel is basic but clean, breakfast is a reasonable price, I am not sure what is happening on France but the cost of some breakfasts was exorbitant. Pod street parking if you have a car and as I say close to transport facilities.
If you are just staying over night or a couple of days this is a good place to stay, not far from the railway station, which means easy access into the center of Lyon with out having to drive and find a carpark. Lyon is a lovely city with many historic places to see, we really enjoyed being able to park our car at the railway station for the price of your train ticket, yes that was the cost, you use your train ticket to get out of the carpark. Great system worth a visit.

Room tip: Close to the university and the peripherique north and south.

The room I stayed in was very nice, with a kitchen and all required utensis. Room was very clean. Staff was very courteous and greatest thing is they all speak English - a rarity to find in Lyon I guess. Except that I had to change buses and metros to reach part-Dieu, I was very much happy with this place and would recommend to anyone traveling to Lyon.

the hotel is in a run down area miles from the centre of lyon. it reminded me more of student lodgings than a hotel.although the room appeared to be reasonably clean, when trying to sleep i kept scratching from the very first night, by the end of the trip we were both stratching. check out time was supposed to be 11am but we had the cleaning lady banging on the door trying to get us out at 9.40am.i honestly could not recommend this place.

The location is a bit out of the way with not a lot in the immediate neighbourhood, but with a good GPS or a detailed map this is a great location!

We are a family of 4 travelling (kids are 7 and 6) and we find that the rooms are great for us. The kids sleep in the main bedroom and we share the quite comfortable double sofa bed so we can plan more of our trip and stay on the net with the (pay extra) internet connection in the lounge area.

Kitchen is a good size and a seperate bathroom and toilet are good for us. All the people we have encountered at reception speak perfect English (real plus for us who no parle francais). Kitchen could be better with a toaster and a kettle, but we get by.

The drive into town could be done with a bus/metro connection, but parking is easy enough to find in Lyon and fairly cheap so we take that option. We have found free parking in front of the hotel every time we have looked for it so we have not had to pay the not too unreasonable parking fee ($8).

We have found this great for us though understand that others found it otherwise. You make your own decision.
