any body staying near tiptop plaza always know about woodland on LBS road, its nice, friendly staff and food is very good, charges are reasonable.please do visit with your family.
Group of 6 family members went for lunch and had a pleasant experience. This is our favourite joint to quench our appetite when we are around this area. As usual we had best food this time also. Starters Masale Pappad, Cheese Bhajjias accompanied the Palak Soup, and Lemon corriandar soup were excellent. Main course of cripy rotis with Bhendi dry subji, veg kadai and Bisi Belahuli Anna (Kannada type kichdi) were the icing on the cake. Impeccable service make this vegetarian restaurant in this part of the city all the more enjoyable apart from very good food. We could see the owner of the Restaurant, along with his friends, was also eating the in the next table to ours and he was also taking same food as served to customers, which adds to the confidence of the customers.
Keep it up Woodland. Only point to be looked into by the Management is the washroom area which require lot of improvement .
We visited this place after five months yesterday. After a long shopping spree, we were famished and dropped by to have lunch. We ordered for a combo of North Indian and South Indian, namely Aloo Parantha, Rasam Wada and a Veg Thali.
Food was yummy and we polished it in 30 minutes and headed home. It costs about Rs. 400/- for two.
Date of visit 09/05/2015. We were at Thane for a worship at the Hanuman Mandir and picking up the monthly provisions at D-Mart. Dropped in at my favourite restaurant Woodland Retreat. We decided to go in for the South Indian Thali. The appetiser started with a bowl of Rasam Wada which was yummy and really kindled the hunger. Next came the plate with the food -roti-subzi-dhall-curry n a sweet.
Thoughtfully they served a cool butter milk.
