Owner description: Cinnamon Hill's diverse elevations offer a great combination of both links style and inland golf. Feel the cool ocean spray on your cheeks as you play alongside the Caribbean Sea, then hear the wind whistling through the pines as you tee-off on holes 16 and 17, 350 feet above sea-level. On the closing stretch, tight fairways are dotted with treacherous, strategically placed bunkers, inspiring the most competitive player’s best game. This is a test you will enjoy - enchanting panoramas framing your every shot. The Caribbean Sea can be viewed from 17 of the 18 holes and the one hole where it’s absent a majestic waterfall awaits your errant tee shot. The waterfall is the site where they filmed James Bond’s Movie Live and let Die and is only one component of the great history that is on the course. On hole #14 the winter home of country music superstar Johnny and June Cash can be seen from the fairway. As an added enhancement, one of the course’s biggest assets happens to be its expert caddies. “Some breathtaking views!”
Reviewed 19 April 2012

I played for rounds and each one was great. The course is in great shape with some nice elevation changes. The seafront holes are so cool. If it's windy - watch out. I had the same caddy all four days - Anthony. He kept my game in check and provided alot of local history and knowledge.

I played on my own and the rounds were completed really fast.

Tamara is an angel - great customer service.

A Red Stripe and a beef patty is a great way to finish the round!

“Great golf experience”
Reviewed 28 March 2012

We stayed at the Hilton Rose Hall and this course is right on the property. You can walk from the hotel or they take you in a golf cart. Nice and modern pro shop. Driving range. You will be assigned a walk along caddie and they are fantastic. The front nine has some elevation and three holes run near the resort and on the ocean. Several holes run near historic elements such the the cemetery in the James Bond movie Live and Let Die (4th) and the old sugar cane mill (7th). The back nine runs up into the mountain and has dramatic elevation changes. Many of the holes give you a dramatic view of the ocean. The back nine is really fun and challenging as there are several holes that have risk/reward shots.

I would recommend golfing after 1:30 as the rates go down significantly. I guess they do this because at somes times of year its much hotter in the afternoon but I did not find that to be the case in March. The caddie they gave us was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and above all knew all the right shots and putts...very helpful!

“Nice Course”
Reviewed 22 March 2012

My husband and I golfed twice here and had a good time. The caddy was very helpful and eager to give your tips. They provided drinks and snacks while golfing and found the course very empty, although March may be out of season. It was part of our resort package so we didn't have to pay the $179 fee per each day.
