This restaurant is raved about on Trip Advisor and is pretty much impossible to eat at without a reservation - we had to book three days in advance for the next available date so don't leave it too late into your stay if you want to try it.
The food is excellent quality, well cooked and well worth the 5 stars I have given it. However, I would not say that it was THAT much better than some of the other restaurants we also ate at, such as Il Capo and Alessandro's, and had much smaller portion sizes.
I had the sea bass with garlic and lemon, which was reasonably well filleted and tasty, but only came with two small potatoes, one tomato and a small amount of broccoli and carrots, which left me definitely wanting pudding to fill up. My husband had the pork medallions served in a Menorcan style tomato coating, which he loved.
The complementery squares of omelette and olives they brought out were very tasty and I have to say the puddings WERE the best we had (if you try the cheesecake be warned that it is more than a flan than the creamy dessert you think of in the UK - this is not specific to just this restaurant but seems to be just how they serve them in Menorca, as we came across this in two separate places).
Despite its 'high end' feel and attitude, they were still very family friendly (we were a little nervous about our 2 year old but the staff were lovely and gave pens to colour in the back of the children's menu).
It's definitely worth a try and if it hadn't been so hard to get into and a bit pricier than others then we might have gone back again, but don't expect something extraordinary, it's just good food.

We had lunch here earlier this week. Beautiful fresh paella, sangria and beers! Our toddler enjoyed the spaghetti bolognaise too! Friendly service and great value! Give all the other restaurants a miss, you wont get any better in Son Bou!

Another two great dinners at Casa Andres. Good food, wine, atmosphere and service. Essential that you must book. The staff, lead by Andres himself, are friendly, cooperative, and give the impression of enjoying their work. I cannot understand people giving this restaurant poor reviews.

We had two wonderful meals here . We hadn't booked but they accommodated us on both occasions! We will book in advance next time . The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is amazing , our meals were cooked in front of us, exactly to our liking . Definitely our favourite meal .
