Having not eaten at this pub for many years we were pleasantly surprised and very impressed with the food, decor and service. Our main courses of Chicken Cordon Bleu at £14.95 and Trio of the Sea £18.95 were really delicious and we would definitely order them again. When It came to choosing desserts we were very spoilt for choice and our waitress kindly made sure we got to see a few going by not that that made the choice any easier as they all looked delicious!! Having settled on pear frangipane we were not disappointed. The pub was busy and there was a buzzy atmosphere whilst the service was prompt. We were initially charged for one more drink than we had had but when this was pointed out it was removed from our bill. We will definitely return to this venue when next in the area.

Stopped here after visiting Broadway looking for a country pub nearby. Was quite busy for a Tuesday lunch, service was really friendly, and the food was excellent, clearly some very talented chefs on board. Will definitely be coming back.

This was definitely worth a taxi ride from our Hotel in Broadway, we both said we wished we had more time to have another meal.....Found this little gem on Tripadvisor, Cerian our server was so bubbly and helpful, we struggled to choose a starter as they all looked so good, she advised the Mushroom with goats cheese, and blue cheese croquettes to share as we didn’t want a large starter each... best I’ve ever tasted, followed by a ribeye steak with all the trimmings, plus I chose peppercorn sauce, my husband a blue cheese sauce, everything was cooked to perfection, the sauce was that good we scraped it all out ( and I bet we weren’t the only ones to do it) I even had a birthday card off the staff wishing me a Happy Birthday, I booked with the Landlord who again was so friendly as were all the staff, this is definitely my favourite find in the Cotswolds ,,,Massive pat on the back to the Chefs ....

This week we took a London visitor here for a good lunch! After Doombar beer & Burning gold beers to start we had a good sirloin steak a bit rare with a Portobello mushroom& Pont neuf chips-we also had Sea bream on a crayfish risotto that was very good! To finish there was liqueur coffee & Cappuccino-both excellent

The fish here always seems excellent & served in an imaginative way too! Service is always good but unobtrusive as well!

We arranged a birthday lunch for my mother in laws 90th on Saturday for twenty people and children. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful . Thanks to all who made it a memorable afternoon. Highly recommend.
