We have been to Broadway a number of times, as the standards at the Swan are slipping we were looking for somewhere different to go and thank goodness we did!
The Inn & Brasserie at Childswickham deserves the reviews and place as top place to eat in the Broadway area.
We both had the baby red mullet special to start which was absolutely delicious. Then my husband had the Blue Swimming Crab and Haddock fish cakes and I had the Roast bed of Lighthorn Lamb, both dishes were fantastic. The wines available are also really nice. I struggled to decide what to order as all the main dishes sounded amazing, I can honestly say I have never seen a menu like that before.
Our dog was also welcomed in the bar. We will definitely be back when we visit Broadway again!

It was my partners 30th at the weekend and I was looking for somewhere we could go for dinner that accommodate someone in a wheelchair, that wasn't too far from home and wouldn't break the bank.

Well, we found it! Food was delicious (and plentiful). My partner had the falafel to start followed by the steak, our friend had the scallops followed by the Guinness Ribs and I had the sea bass. Every single dish was mouthwatering and we can't wait to come back to try the other dishes on the menu.

However, the thing that made it even more special was the service. Our waitress was a breath of fresh air, not only was she attentive but she had character.

We will definitely be back.

We walked cross-country from Buckland on a perfect summer's day and received a friendly welcome. Starters of asparagus with poached egg & chive hollandaise was delicious. For mains we had roast loin of pork with perfect crackling & apple puree and roast leg of lamb in a tasty mint jus. But the dessert was incredible! A freshly-prepared plum & spiced rhubarb tarte tatin with caramel (perfect browned) with fig ice-cream & butterscotch syrup. I would return just for that! The service was impeccable too. Highly recommended all round.

After reading the great reviews, we decided to book for dinner. From the moment we walked in the door the waiting staff were incredibly hospitable.
We shared a antipasto board to start which had delicious bread, sundried tomatoes, olives and homemade pesto. There was a good range of main courses and specials on offer for around £12-£17. We very much wanted to try dessert but the main courses were large portions.
