Amazing!
Very good location right by the river, close to almost famous restaurants and locations. Room and amenities are all good and clean. Really friendly and helpful staff. I would stay there again.

We booked this hotel with no given warning in advance of the amount of building work in the process. There is work being done everywhere with drilling and loud work that started at 7 am. There is much noise and dirt across the hotel. Despite this we did sleep fairly well until the morning and the beds were comfortable, however we did have a stained bed sheet that wasn’t changed. The room itself is nicely decorated but small, the bathroom is very modern and the tv is good quality. The air con unit did work but was very loud however. The staff were very friendly but were not too helpful when we had questions concerning the local area. The location was good, we had a nice view of Dong Hoi, with it being a short distance from the main centre and the bus stop a few metres down the road. The worst part of the experience was definitely the breakfast, it took a while to come and when it did it was cold and was a strange ensemble of random things. The top floor we had breakfast on was also leaking from the roof and the decor was very minimal. Unfortunately our stay didn’t live up to expectations but I assume once all the building work is completed and things are run more smoothly it would be a better experience overall.

The staff barely spoke English. The breakfast was awful. We had a problem with the shower as it didn’t work and neither they solve the problem neither they change our room.
The aircond wasn’t working well either and the staff just laughed at as.
By far worst stay in Vietnam

In the photos looked very good but in reality was a little disappointing. The room smelled as bad as the bathroom all day and night, there were a lot of spiders and not sure if the bed sheets were clean. Also the room was very small. The staff didn’t speak nor understand English enough. The breakfast was poor, specially because they didn’t have options different from soups and meat. The restaurant didn’t have food in the afternoon, only drinks. The only good thing was the view, but it didn’t worth.

We stayed here for 1 night just to enable us to visit Phong Nah Ke Bang and it was a fairly short notice booking.

The hotel is a tall, imposing building overlooking the river and has 14 floors.

Firstly the Good points.

The room was nice with an unusual totally glass walled bathroom (see pic) and there was a rooftop bar with great views. However....

The bad points.

The welcome was non-existent. The receptionist spoke very little English and asked for our passports saying that they would give them back when we left only to then forget to give them back.

The air conditioning in the room was almost non-existent and the soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower were empty. They did provide a little bottle of each, but they had obviously not been replaced and had been already used.

The included breakfast was laughable. There was very little to eat (pic) and even less to drink. My partner asked for water to drink and was given a glass of hot water. When she said that she wanted cold water, they simply put ice cubes in the glass!

But by far the worst thing is the hotel only has 1 lift to service 14 floors AND the doors to the stairwell were kept LOCKED!!!!

Could be better but avoid for now.
