“Salty heaven”
Review of Zarace Village

Reviewed 28 July 2016

It is hard to get to this beach but aboslutely worth it. The water is very clean, the beach isn't crowded, you can find your privacy in the shadows or in the sun. This is absolutely a must when visiting Hvar.

No matter where on Hvar Island you are, this is place to visit!
Little village with its gorgeous beach and amazing sunset view offers unique experience. Must come and see, so you would know what it's all about.

Wonderful place - upstairs nice renewed old village (getting bettter and better in 15 years we return every year), downstairs magnificent natural cliff enclosed in a beautiful bay with pebble beach and two other separate small beaches. Refreshments ("restaurant") nothing much to high prices (better to take a water bottle and a sandwich with you and go up on the coffee). In addition, restaurant owners consider the beach as their property - occupy an increasingly formerly free parking spaces and even prevent visitors to the beach to take a few pebbles in remembrance (apparently they are the owners!). Put your eye on them.

This place is sort of away from the popular beaches. The sea is clear and very clean. Suitable for a quick dip and enjoy the peace and calm environment. for better access to shoot some photo, try take the upper path which you can access to the top for panoramic view.

Parking can be challenging.

Not much to do but here but take some pics of cute houses. Other than that, there is really nothing else to do. Maybe use a rest room? Not worth stopping over for.
