We walked upto this monastery from MG. The views were really beautiful as we got higher and higher. Rather steep 2.5 km walk. The monastery itself is a small place of worship with some interesting paintings. The benches inside the monastery were apparently only for monks so visitors could not sit and meditate inside.

Had visited with family.. Some construction was ongoing. Hence it was bit dusty.. It is very small monastery. As a tourist, I didn't like. But otherwise it's a place to worship.. So it is quite..

The monastery was the first one we visited in this trip. It is a small one and good one to visit. The prayer hall was extremely good.

Monasteries cannot be reviewed...you always feel abundance of mental peace and enchey is not an exception...
Just the restaurant at the entry gate is a black spot but as you enters... You would be in different world all together... The world of silence and purity....amidst the fragrance of joss sticks...you automatically goes into meditation...
Please visit the place with your family
