I had no idea that just behind the coastline there were such wonderful facilities for a variety of horse riding. Polo Valley really appeals to me as it caters for beginners like me, children and families as well as well seasoned polo players. I think everyone would feel comfortable here and well provided for whatever your riding and polo skills. You can go and stay or go for the day. The horses are lovely, as are the surroundings. The courses and training varied. If you stay, the food and outdoor eating are trad Spanish cuisine and yummy. Staff are really helpful and instructors supportive and attentive. Be sure to say hello to Sotto, the shetland, who will steal your heart!

I visited Polo Valley for a weekend break in May with a couple of friends from the UK. We landed in Gibraltar airport and were greeted by Chris who drove us to a great little tapas restaurant to meet some other Polo Valley guests, eat some food and have a few Friday night 'Cervezas', before heading to the farm.

The farm or 'Finca' was very comfortable and a great place to relax in the sun in between and after playing polo. There are spacious double rooms, big lounge and kitchen, a bar, plenty of outside space and a private pool to use.

I am not the best polo player but am very keen to get better so the training was key for me. I am glad to say I was not disappointed with Polo Valley, the trainers, grooms, riding instructors and ponies are seriously good here so I came back feeling more confident in my riding ability and stick and ball skills.

The service was again very good, Judy and Kat are lovely and very helpful. Every time I got off the pony I was offered fresh oranges &/or a gin and tonic! Lunches and dinners are great too. Fresh food, great wine and the asado on a Saturday evening was brilliant.

Highly recommend and will be back in the summer!

Polo valley was the highlight of 2017 for me! The instructional chukkas helped me improve my game so much and learn the tactics of the sport. The ponies were amazing, so well behaved and safe but still very fast. The asado was delicious, with the great company of the people from polo valley in such a lovely atmosphere. Definitely hoping to go again for longer this year!

I've always wanted to learn how to play Polo and Polo Valley was recommended by a friend.

Barely able to ride a horse, i wasn't sure how i would get on. Thankfully the teachers were all brilliant and there was a clear structure in place that will build your confidence and help you pick up the sport very quickly. You start by practicing your swing and getting to learn how to control the horse before gradually moving into more open environments with a mallet and ball.

The food was also fantastic. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served with dietary requirements all taken on board.

All in all a fantastic weekend and i wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend to a friend!
