Our apartment was very clean with everything we required for our week long stay. Close to many eateries, cafes & restaurants. Also a fantastic view. The beach is only a couple of minutes away, along with the surf club. Loved the coffees & delicious zucchini fritters at Mr Bengel. The Collective is also a great restaurant to eat in or take away. We did not have a car, so the bus service was a great alternative.
I highly recommend this apartment for many reasons but right at the top is the view. The balcony wraps around the building allowing you to see the sunrise and the sunset!
The place itself is immaculate and has everything you need and more! It's spacious, clean and the kitchen inspires you to cook despite there being so many great places to eat literally 5 minutes walk away. The Collective is a must!
This part of the Gold Coast is really laid back and has a very local vibe which is great if you hate feeling like a tourist! It's proximity to both Tallebudgera Creek and Currumbin Creek are excellent if you aren't a fan of swimming in the ocean, or if you have kids that are too young for the surf.
Another highlight I must mention was the Rainbow Lorikeets that like to visit the balcony! You aren't supposed to feed them but my little boy 'accidentally' dropped some crumbs so we allowed them to have a nibble while we got some great photos.
I could go on but all I can say is that this place is everything you need in accommodation for a visit to the 'Goldie.' I'll definitely be back!
P.S Bring binoculars for the Whale season from May, June, July!!
As I write this review, we are currently sitting on the balcony enjoying our last afternoon of beers, wines and cheese looking out over the ocean with the sun setting over the hinterland behind us...magic!
The apartment is in an excellent location, with cool cafes, restaurants and a supermarket all within walking distance.
The patrolled beach (with some of the whitest sand I've seen) is only a couple of minutes walk away, with the Palm Beach Surf Club next door. We enjoyed some lovely meals there and they too have a great view being right on the beach.
A fabulous kitchen (fairly recently renovated by the looks of it) allowed us to cook some meals here and enjoy them on the balcony. The modern bathrooms have also been renovated in the past few years too I'd think.
We have enjoyed lovely ocean breezes and even though the weather has been quite warm, we have always been cool and comfortable.
Cleanliness of the space is top notch (something I am fanatical about), with the furniture all being modern and comfortable.
We have appreciated the access to Foxtel (enjoying the tennis) and the teenagers the unlimited wifi!
Communication with the owners has been great - we really appreciated the local information prior to arrival and have put that to good use.
We have also made good use of the pool area in the complex and fortunately, it has been fairly quiet throughout our stay.
We are looking forward to another stay (soon, I hope!) and would recommend this apartment to other travellers.
I have stayed at several units up and down palm beach. This one is both centrally located and has great views. Will be staying again great spot.
Had a wonderful stay - the apartment is pristine and had the best view from the balcony to watch the waves. We were lucky enough to see a whale one morning! The bedroom backs onto the road but this didn't bother us at all. Great location close to some nice bars, cafes and restaurants and 2 minute walk to the beach. Which is beautiful. Would recommend feather and dock for brekkkie, the surf club for beer and lunch, and Lester and Earl for dinner - all 30 seconds walk away. Wish we could have stayed longer!
