Having had a few breakfasts at Local & Co we arranged for our annual luncheon for 60 to be held in the restaurant, adopting a pre-Melbourne Cup theme.
This filled the restaurant and what a great event it was.
The food was extraordinary, with shared plates to start, followed by a main of your choice and then dessert.
Raves were heard about the Beef Cheeks and Confit of Duck Leg and the simple dessert, Tiramisu was mouth-watering.
Followed by good coffee to balance of the copious quantities of beer and wine consumed.
We arrived at 12 noon and the luncheon went on to 4:30, and it was an event that will be long remembered as a real treat by our group.
Service was good and attentive, with the mains coming our pretty much all at the same time, in spite of the capacity crowd.
A great success for us and our thanks to Ivana and her staff at Local & Co for making a special event really special. Indeed it was amazing.
