We had a lovely stay at the Antineas Hotel
Service was first class from the manager, reception, bar and restaurant staff.
Although it is situated at the top of a hill, the location enhanced the views and gave us a little more exclusivity.
However, the stay started badly because of the room allocation and the different standard of the rooms.
Being in a group we were able to compare and the rooms varied greatly, some quite small rooms were meant to be junior suites. The hotel did resolve issues in three instances after the first night, but there should be a better description of the rooms and they should be priced accordingly. Every room is probably different, and possibly there could be up to seven grades ranging from a large suite with an inside Jacuzzi to a small box room.
We as group of 13 had a meal on our first evening in the restaurant, but the food was very slow being served and we all ate our courses at different times, which spoilt our enjoyment.
We hope these are constructive criticisms. This did not deter us from an enjoyable and unforgettable holiday during which our daughter (and new son in law) got married at a nearby wedding venue.More
