just returned from a 11 night stay over the new year.i was dreading what to expect after reading some reviews, but it wasnt as bad as we expected,if you pay 3star prices dont expect 4 star sevice,We had a one bedroom apartment on the second floor overlooking the tennis courts, what i seen, may have been the best rooms as you got the evening sun on your balcony and less noise at night from the main street and bars,The room was a good size for two people although you need to take your own kettle or hire one,the tv says you have to pay,but we found we got all english channels while we were there, maybe we were just lucky. The pool area was very small and rooms overlooking the pool were to close for my liking.i cannot coment on the pool itself as i never used it for this reason,we used the roof top with the jucuzi which was peaceful and quiet as no under 18s,the jucuzi warmed up lovely by the afternoon.we were there 7 nights and then they emptied the pool to do renavasions and were still doing this on the 11th day when we left all though this did not effect us i think we should of been told of this,All the staff were very nice especially Lorry and the 2 gentlemen behind the bar,Lory maid some lovely monkey brain shots new years eve,the gala night on new years eve was also great. The restarant staff were very friendly esp the lady that did the fresh omletes in the morning, the evening meals had a couple of choices and only one night i couldnt find anything i liked,so off too the all you can eat chinese across the road was a good choice and exellent price. The hotel in right in the centre, about 10 min stroll from the beach.all in all we got we paid for, nothing plush but a well eared winter break, would i go back,no,but thats only because i found caleta de fuste to quiet for my liking.

We booked 2 x one bed apartments with a pool view. We got 2 x studios and the pool was empty and having a complete makeover.

The reception staff were brilliant and did change our rooms but nothing can be done about the pool. We were told we could use their sister hotel which is down the road!

I think we should have been told before we traveled and offered an alternative hotel. Some people paid extra for a pool view!

We have only been here a couple of days but so far the food is fine, lots of choice. The barman is a bit grumpy but the rest of the staff are very nice.

The hotel could do with a refurbish but you get what you pay for. I have found the beds comfortable and the rooms clean.

The weather is great so we will make the best of it

Stayed here during the Xmas and new period 2017 all inclusive ...we paid 70€ to upgrade from a studio room to a room by the pool ... there was no kettle and only one plate.. supposed to of been internet and you could only get it in the reception area .. we had to pay for the tv ... the tiles was cracked in both sitting area and bathroom, the lamp was loose that was on the wall above the bed, the sink was loose in the bathroom, the kitchen cupboards was a shambles with melamine missing on the corners, the fridge was rusty, no heated pool as it’s been broken for some time, same meals every 2 days some days it was cold .. and the entertainment .. well say no more .. couldn’t fault the staff at all ... The resort is really nice just DO NOT stay at Caleta garden ... other than that we had a great time

Stayed at this hotel a few times before. We noticed changes to decor immediately on arrival which was an improvement. The staff are excellent, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. New years eve they were a credit to the company, they even let my son join in greeting guests as they arrived for the gala dinner. The food has improved since our last visit but gets a bit repetitive as does any buffet style. The only moans is that come 11pm we were asked to leave the bar and they ran out of some spirits too. Rooms need updating, but you only use them to sleep in anyway. On the whole brilliant week. Thanks for the chocolates and card left in our room it was much appreciated. Will definitely come back to the hotel again.
