Unhappy with the food at our chosen hotel we chose to eat just across the road at Il Lupo which is a fairly small restaurant, not cramped with pleasant subdued lighting.
The menu is large with plenty of choice to suit all tastes and a good wine list. My wife had pork with a Dianne sauce and I chose lambs liver in a red wine and onion sauce, probably the best lambs liver dish I have tasted. Three courses all washed down with a bottle of Nero d'Avola for £84, not cheap but we were not disappointed. We booked again for the next day and once again we were well pleased with the food and service. We ate there on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening and would advise booking as it was very busy both nights.
