There are many reasons to stay in Cote de France! First of all, it is close to Serra Malagueta national park, which is 8-9 km away. You can take a local minibus (aluguer) and in 10 min you will be at the entrance to the park! If you like hiking and trekking, Serra Malagueta is the place to go on Santiago island. If you need a guide, the team in Cote de France can find one, who can show the park.
If you need any help, Magali (the manager) and her team will be happy to assist. Magali thoroughly explained how to get to the B&B with public transport or taxi. All team members are very friendly and doing their best to make your vacation remarkable.
On the day of arrival I have got 2 thick booklets about the B&B and about the area around Cote de France. You can find a lot of useful information in there.
If you feel going out, you can go to Assomada, which is not far away. If you are thinking, where to have dinner, my recommendation is to stay at the villa! You get an amazing dinner for 9€! I liked all 3 courses! Appetizer (entrée) - ressois (fried dumplings with tuna), main course - massa - a dish with chicken, banana, rice, round dumplings and tasty sauce; dessert - ice cream with caramelized coconut chips!

My room was not big but was nicely decorated and had everything I needed. The villa has a terrace on the second floor with a chilling corner, where you can have relax time with a book or taking sun bath. More
