What a find! We came here in June for a weeks break and we are so, so glad we did. Villa Mirjana is in a fantastic location about 20 minutes from the airport, we usually get a bus or train from the airport but were advised it would be better to get a cab as you would have to go to Dubrovnik then come back. We did this and it cost 25 euros going and 20 euros back as we used the same gentleman.

The Villa Mirjana is nothing short of beautiful, everything is thought of, we had room 2 which had bourganvilla draped over the wall and the view we had from our terrace was nothing short of stunning. You are furnished with lovely comfy deckchairs but also a table and other chairs as well. There is also a fan overhead when you get too hot.

The room is beautiful, a big comfy bed, huge fridge, very good working air conditioning and even a coffee maker. It was like an apartment but in one room there was a hob and well supplied saucepans, cups, utensils and kettle. Everything is absolutely spotlessly clean and nicely thought out, well decorated and relaxing.

There is a small infinity pool, again with stunning view of Mlini Bay and surrounded by deck chairs and a couple of umbrellas we were there a week and the pool we had mainly to ourselves.

The location of Villa Mirjana is fabulous go left and you end up in the old town full of restaurants and bars with a lovely view over the harbour. Go straight down the stairs there is a lovely restaurant where you can eat in or outside again with views over the bay. The food was lovely here or you can just have a coffee or wine or beer.

Then walk straight on and you pass beaches and more restaurants all the way round to another little village with lots of bars and restaurants. If you walk further round there is a massive supermarket which sells absolutely everything it also has a bank here as well if you need to change up some money.

You can catch boats to Dubrovnik which takes about 30 minutes and costs about 100 Croatian Kuna for two return and also Cavtat which is definitely worth a visit it is beautiful. You can also catch buses, I think the number 10 and again that is quite cheap.

I would recommend staying here even if you are wishing to see Dubrovnik as it gets so very, very busy especially if you go on a day when there are two cruise ships in. I googled when the cruise ships weren't in and it was still very busy but I have heard that you cannot move if you go in when the cruise ships are there.

I will return it was the most relaxing place I have ever been with really friendly people.

When we arrived Katrina upstairs showed us to our rooms and was absolutely lovely, very chatty and informative and helpful. Thank you so much, we both had such a fantastic time.

Room tip: a higher floor the views are fab

Excellent apartment, had a terrace which overlooked the bay, it was a delight to sit and have breakfast there! In a great place to visit Dubrovnik or Cavtat, boats and buses very easy to use. It was a very relaxing holiday, INA beautiful place with lovely places to eat.

Our visit to Milini staying in Villa Mirjana was exceptional. The family who own these apartments live on site so the are at hand when ever you need them, but one still has your own privacy. Their is a restaurant just under the house which is really lovely. Katia, the Grandmother makes delicious deserts for the restaurant. The apartment we stayed in was contemporary, clean and functional. our terrace was a few steps next to the apartment, which you had to reach by walking out of your door and up some steps, so not attached, but still very pleasant with a stunning sea view. The fabulous infinity pool with sea view was a few more steps up and down round to the front of the apartment block,so if you do not do steps it may not suit you. Milini is a quiet village with about 6 or 7 restaurants and bars as well and lovely beaches.1 supermarket and two bakeries up the hill and a short boat ride to Dubrovnik. would visit again.

Room tip: All rooms will offer a pleasant a stay.

We stayed 11 nights August 2017 in the studio next to the pool (red polka dot bedspread) which offered more privacy than studios at poolside). The most amazing views, quality furnishings, fab shower, seating on terrace and 2 deckchairs. Perfect location for beach and restaurants. Pool to die for! Quiet and towels changed every other day. Friendly owner and cleaners. Highly recommend, especially for couples.

My wife and I stayed for five days and four nights at the one bedroom villa with private terrace and gorgeous 180+ degrees of ocean views. What a pleasure to be greeted by the gentle sunrise and to relax and sleep listening to kissing waters and romantic sunsets. The owner was hospitable and friendly, speaking English and attentive to our needs. Restaurants, shopping, and Old Town Dubrovnik were close by and easily accessible. Mlini was the perfect distance to get away from the crowds of tourists visiting Old Town. We will be back!
