Wonderful old monastery beautifully converted inside. Modern spacious rooms with all conveniences. Nice inner courtyard with gardens and a bar set up for our group. Service at dinner was good although the food a little bland.

The Hotel Cenacolo is located just outside of Assisi. It started out as the Franciscan Hotel of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Its interior has been modernized for use by today's travelers visiting Assisi, a truely wonderful transformation. Our room had satellite TV, free WiFi, an in-room safe, a shower (no bathtub), a hair blow dryer & a mini-fridge; but it had neither a microwave nor hot water kettle.

The room was as expected - clean, comfy, modern, etc. Had good Wi-Fi too. It was late and I'd been on the road for some time, so decided to take the easy route and just eat at the restaurant. What a lucky choice! The food was excellent - especially the desert. With ample free parking, this place has about everything you could want for a short stop near some historic attractions.

Converted monastery, great on site restaurant walking distance to local church, but not walkable to Assisi, very modern and room are good and very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly, plenty of free parking and accessibility is very good for Assisi from here, five minutes by car

Only stayed 1 night but found this hotel to be modern, clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and while quite simple, it got all the essentials right. We ate dinner at the hotel - most delicious pasta with truffles. Breakfast buffet had a good selection - awesome marmalade croissants. Located a short walk into town but in a very quiet location. The property is very spread-out so those less mobile might find there is a lot of walking between reception, rooms and dining venues.
