This hotel is located at the edge of one of two alpine lakes south of Munich where German impressionist painted a century ago. As you will see from the photos attached, the two sunsets (We liked the hotel and the staff so much that we stayed an extra day) were spectacular as viewed from our balcony overlooking the smaller of the two lakes.
After renting a sailboat on the most southern and larger lake, we had dinner at the hotel. My grilled seafood platter was the outstanding meal of our trip and was an incredible bargain.
The breakfasts were great. The staff was super kind and generous in spirit. We did not have the chance to enjoy even half of the offered amenities. I brought a brochure back with me to show to friends
