We were 4 couples and a single and wanted 5 separate bills. No problem. We were labeled A-E. couples were sitting side by each so that bit wasn't confusing for the waiter.
Wanted fish & chips & was expecting Mahi mahi....but white fish of the day was flounder. 4 folks took this offering and all were most pleased with their dinners. Grilled flounder was just as good. Other offerings were tacos...shrimp & fish for one person, & 2 fish & 1 shrimp for another. No complaints, just raves. Squirt bottles with different sauces to season your meal were on the table and made great use of.
Homemade fries with option of malt vinegar on the table.
Sm coleslaw came with most meals as a side.
I had the clam chowder...hoping that it would b easy to go down since I recently had dental work and couldn't really 'chew' .
I was happy with things chopped fine, my friend was hoping for big pieces/chunks of clams, so was alittle disappointed.
Lime & mango margaritas were the usual grande size and most delish. Everyone left full and content at 6 pm....just as the rush was starting. About 4-5 tables of 5+ people all arrived within 10 minutes and things kept moving quickly.
First time here for us, but definitely on my list for next year & maybe even once more before we leave.
Not on the beach, but the food is worth it...walk across after dinner to have a look at the sunset.
It's located on Ave Pacifico....narrow cobblestone roads, limited parking, near the plaza on the beach. Menu written in chalk on the wall, ask what fish is available ....don't assume that they have everything written on the wall.
Price and portions and flavor of food allows for generous tipping. Most waitstaff live on their tips, not salary.
Another gem in Bucerias.........
