Although this used to be a restaurant, it wasn't when we stayed there. The Bucerias Beach House is a collection of suites (3 bedroom house and 4 suites) We stayed in the upper suite. We bought or groceries and enjoyed our breakfast every morning on the large patio deck. The sea breeze was wonderful as well as soaking up the sun and watching the birds, sailboats and whales while overlooking the pool..and steps to the beach. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the fresh air. The suite contained everything we needed; well equipped kitchen, king sized comfy bed, air conditioning and wifi. The owners Pepe and Emma are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would recommend the beach house if you want a family-authentic Mexican place to stay. It's quiet and safe.

Going to the Beach House is now a family tradition for us. How often can you go to another country and dine in a restaurant that is the home of a family. Pepe and Emma will share with you their culture and family traditions. You will laugh out loud from the sheer pleasure that food and wine shared with the ocean breeze cooling you off. Just hearing Pepe laugh will make you join in with him. On top of that he margaritas are AWESOME! If you want a Ruth Chris experience don't go here. If you want the expected commercial Mexico go to Cancun. But if you want a memory and a true Mexican experience you can find it at the Beach House.

Went to the Beach House last week. While the food was OK and drinks tasty,it was way over priced. We had met the owner, Pepe the day before on the beach and he was very gregarious and fun. He invited us ( two couples ) to come for a complete dinner for 100 pesos. When we arrived, we were the only people there. Had some great guacamole in the house with our margaritas. We then moved out to our table on the patio overlooking the beach. Peep and his wife are very friendly and nice. There is no menu. Peep tells you what they have which was minimal. I had the Ceasur salad and the pork which was ok but a little tough. We finished our meal and had desert. An OK night but nothing special. When we got the check, our jaws dropped. 1100 pesos! With tip it was 1375. They charged extra for everything. The plate of food was 100 pesos and then we each had a drink and a beer which we knew would be extra. But then they charged extra for everything. I guess it's my own fault as I thought 100 pesos was to good to be true. And it was. So a nice, but more expensive , evening out.

Pepe the owner is a beautiful person and the food was amazing. He is very helpful and was teaching us Spanish and shared a bottle of wine with us.Does not look like much but looks can be deceiving. His new palopa is going to be great right on the beach.
