We had an amazing dinner at this lovely restaurant at a fraction of what it would have cost in DC. The restaurant called itself "fusion" and specialized in a Mexican take on seafood and steak. The kids loved the chips and condiments that were brought to the table, which included guacamole, pico de gallo salsa, refried bean dip, and cream. The tortilla soup was savory and creamy, with a bit of spice but not overwhelming, with crisp tortillas and bits of avocado. The seared tuna was nicely salted and tasted deliciously of the sea. The passion fruit margarita may have been the best margarita I ever had.
My husband loved his tacos, which were seasoned in a unique style -- although he was not as enthusiastic about a raw shrimp dish. The kids loved their passion fruit smoothies and ate everything from tacos to octopus tentacles to a lovingly put-together Caesar salad. It's a very beautiful restaurant on a quiet and charming street, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. We will treasure this family meal for a long time.
