We arrived Friday afternoon to be greeted by a not too friendly lady. We went in to have extremely weak, tasteless coffee and small biscuits, which should have been cake. For the evening meal there was a shop bought saftevand waiting for us, and the food was disgraceful. The potatoes were hard and vacuum packed ones, the meat dry and the dessert shop bought pancakes that were so rubbery, no one ate them. The drinks were ridiculously priced for the standard of the place & who would want expensive wine or expensive water with food like that. The breakfast was adequate. You were placed at tables with other guests, so couldn't speak freely to your partner. The tables were dirty & the staff were unfriendly & didn't bother to clear the plates away. There wasn't enough food brought in at the buffet, so people were waiting for a long time to get something to eat. The room we stayed in was cold, with no heating in the bathroom & nowhere to hang your towels. Cold air was coming through the gaps in the doors & when people smoked outside, we could smell it in our room just above them. As non-smokers this was disgusting. This was a very bad experience & could easily tell the staff had no intention of making anyone's stay pleasant. Would never go there again or recommend it to anyone

I bought a deal online for two persons with 3 course dinner. I paid 180kr for an extra dinner which is not worth it. The food is not something to talk about. A bottle of small soda cost 37kr-/+ and tap water with ice cubes costs 30kr. The room is spacey but smells like stone age.

Enjoyable stay at this hotel in a beautiful little village in northern Jutland. Shame about the dinner which was advertised as chef's choice. They need to choose another chef. there was no choice in the buffet. Plain potato soup for starter, boiled beef and carrots for main course with tinned carrots, and I suspect tinned potatoes, and a very strange dessert which could have been sorbet, but had completely collapsed by the time we got there. Breakfast was very pleasant though. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable

Stayed here for the first two nights of arrival in Denmark. average rooms with generally old furniture. No possibility of getting a snack or drink a little later in the evening because there was nobody around at all (possibly because it was close to Christmas and the holidays! ). Overall, too expensive for what we experienced.

A little worn out but generally quite large rooms.
Problems with heating in the room and faulty locks were dismissed by receptionist (the owner). She was uniterested in the fact that an elderly person with a chronic bladder infection were to stay in a room without any heating and we had to solve the problem outselves by switching rooms and have somebody else stay in the unheated room (the heating was never fixed). The water for the shower was just barely hot enough and the water pressure low. In total we had three encounters with the owner who at every instance came across as very unfriendly and incredibly rude. We overheard similar conversations with other guests either face to face or over the telephone that revealed the same rude behaviour to everybody. The other staff were nice and polite despite being overburdened with too many guests.
Food is ok but quite plain and uninspiring.
The hotel WiFi was slower than using the telephone providers network.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that can be locked and has heating...............
