Large beach plenty of space for everybody, it is a beautiful beach. I loved it, few places to stay close to the beach, we stayed within 5-10minutes drive. Also an area to swim in that’s patrolled by lifeguards. Awesome for everybody!

This is one of our "go to" beaches. A beautiful white sand beach with a harbour, estuary and surf beach. Whatever the weather always a great place to walk.

Of course, this busy 4km beach is the reason for the existence of the town! Lots of people walking, swimming, sunbathing, surfing, fishing, and playing in the sand -- yet not crowded. We enjoyed the walking and the safe swimming. From the town, there are 20 clearly-numbered beach accesses, some with toilet facilities. Easy walk to cafés and restaurants from #4, #5, and #6. Popular café at #9.

We found a shady seat near the life saving club and just sat and caught the breeze, had a walk and just relaxed We would of had a swim as well but couldn’t because we had no swimmers. Just a beautiful safe looking beach with heaps of character

Beautifully set with views out onto small islands in the bay this beach is well worth a visit. The slow shelving beach allows a more sympathetic break for surfing and is spacious enough for games on the back of the beach.
There is loads of room for parking (which is free) only 25-50m from the back of the beach.
