We came back for a second time, this time over Easter and enjoyed glorious sunshine and the same stunning views. The children lived in the pool when they could and explored the terraces and tracks to Avo and around the villa in a really unspoilt beautiful area.
Elizabeth and Stephen went out of their way to make our second visit just as special, arranging with the local bar to make delicious puddings for Easter and even managing to source us half a Goat via the local shop in the village. They arranged for us to have a make your own pizza night their amazing pizza oven that roasted a chicken in 45 mins!
We went on trips up into the mountains and to the Spanish boarder and went to some great restaurants to enjoy long lazy lunches.
There was the odd chilly night but the stove in the sitting room kicks out the heat to enjoy our backgammon and chess games washed down with plenty of red wine.
We will certainly be back again. There are still lots to visit and do. We promised canoeing along the river, winter skiing in the mountains, mountain biking on the tracks and road biking in the mountains.More
