I feel really sorry for any other pasticcerias we visit during the rest of our trip around Sicily because the canoli here are superb and this is the new benchmark. The canoli are filled in front of you. It’s a nice touch but it works as a way of keeping the shells nice and crispy. If you’ve ever had canoli from somewhere where they’ve been filled for a few hours the shells become soft and it spoils the experience. The canoli from Il Vero Cannolo are just perfect. Recommended
