Beautiful property out in the country. Nicely furnished large rooms and cozy common areas. Good restaurant. Excellent service.

Room Tip: Junior suites are very spacious.

On our home trip from our holidays we just wanted palace toe sleep. But there was a cancellation so we could get an luxe apartment. Great room , great location, very clean . Great staff. For what we normally spend a little expensive , but worthwhile . We had a great dinner and a fantastic breakfast. So if you are in the neighborhood you have toe stay here. We will return if we are in the neighborhood. We had a romantic feel over it.

Room Tip: We think it doesn't matter what you choice. every room has it own charms

We recently returned from a four day stay at this hotel/inn in the countryside near to the town of Amboise. We reserved a "superior" room which turned out to be in the one story facility adjacent to the main building of the hotel. Our room was very spacious and well furnished, with a large bathroom (with an uncomfortably narrow shower/bath), an extremely comfortable bed, and was quiet and private. The room decor was a little too "country" for us, but that was a matter of taste and didn't take away from its basic comfort. The hotel is located in the middle of beautiful fields, with a pool, hot tub, and a tennis court, and is beautifully maintained. It would be an especially great location for factive amilies with children as there is plenty of space in which to run around. (See more about location, below.)
The hotel offers a buffet breakfast (breads, croissants, junce, meats, cheeses, tea, coffee) at about 15 euros per person, but we requested a continental breakfast which turned out to be about half that cost . We had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant and although it was clear that the chef cared about the menu and the food, we found the dishes we sampled overly complicated and not to our liking. There were other restaurants in nearby villages however, and a number of restaurants in Amboise, not too far away.
One final word about the location. The hotel is located on a two lane country road that goes through the green fields and is about two or three miles from the main roads in either direction. Although this contributes to its country "feel", for us it felt too isolated, and because the road was so narrow and there were no houses/lights in the fields, we were concerned about getting "home" before dark when we went out in the evening (not a problem in June, when it stayed light until 10:00 p.m.) In retrospect, we would have been happier in a hotel in Amboise. Having said this however, for a comfortable, very well maintained hotel in a beautiful, peaceful location we can recommend Le Fleury.

We have just spent four nights at this gem of a place. Set in quiet, beautiful countryside yet near to Amboise and all the other attractions the Loire Valley has to offer, this proved a wonderful stay. We had a twin bedded room, Le Cerisier, in the main house, beautifully decorated, excellent bedding, really comfortable beds and good, thick fluffy towels.
The staff were welcoming and helpful at all times and we loved the 'extras' like the free bikes, tennis courts, swimming pool and the hot tub.
The restaurant is well worth a visit with excellent food either 'Menu of the Day' (very reasonably priced) or a la carte and a decent wine list featuring some really good local wines. There is also a substantial buffet breakfast.
Our room was 108 Euros a night which we thought a really good price for such a charming hotel. We shall definitely return.
Only one slight word of warning, this is a 'dog friendly' hotel so if you are not a dog lover it is not for you! Apart from that it is a top notch recommend.

Room Tip: We preferred the rooms in the main house and on the first floor, particularly Le Cerisier.

We spent 3 nights at Le Fleuray. It's a very pretty country hotel - idyllic. We had the cheapest priced room -  88Euros per night and to put that in to perspective, you wouldn't get the grimmest hotel in London for that price.
We love the countryside so this was a superb location for us. Beautiful, easy access to the chateaux and vineyards. If you do want to eat away from the hotel for dinner then it can be a bit of a mission to find somewhere to eat.
We had the room right by reception which we couldn't complain about for the price. Clean, adequate size, comfy bed, wifi and tv but be warned at having ground floor rooms by reception if you are a light sleeper - we did have a stomper above us which did disturb sleep plus people chatting on their way through reception.
The swimming pool was very nice and There is a tennis court too.
Dinner menus start from 29E for a 3 course meal and we really enjoyed our meal and thought it was delicious.  Wine seemed quite pricey. Couldn't complain about the buffet breakfast, it has everything you could want.
There are free bikes and we cycled to Amboise which was a great bonus.
It's a hotel that feels like it should be a place for a romantic break for two - the dining room has an intimate feel to it. The setting is gorgeous. However it's marketed towards families and actually would be a great place to bring babies and toddlers and young kids. The only thing is that is quite off putting when you dont have kids as when you are trying to relax in quiet by the pool or have a lovely meal in the restaurant, noisy and crying kids and babies are very annoying. We were lucky as there were only 2 loud kids by the pool but I can imagine at the height of summer they could be a real nuisance. However, you can't please everyone.
This is a family run hotel so if patience isnt your strong point and you like snappy snap service usa style then probably not the place for you as you  do have to ring a bell and wait a bit for someone to help and get  tea especially if their dining room is busy. We thought this added to the charm though. The staff are very friendly and helpful and many are English and the french staff don't mind if you practice your franglais.
We would definitely return but perhaps choose a different room and would always make sure it wasn't school holidays or at peak time.
