We booked a 16 night stay here most of which was as a couple with our 2 dogs, but joined for a few days by our son and daughter, their spouses and two grand daughters. The house is certainly spacious enough to swallow all this tribe so no-one felt cramped. I cooked for all on 2 nights and apart from blunt knives the kitchen was well enough equipped to produce a large meal. Everyone was happy with the comfort of the beds, and bathrooms which along with the linen seemed all very new.
The owners are very generous with things like toilet rolls, soap and dishwasher tabs so there is no real need to bring or source your own and a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge was a welcoming touch and in general the house is very well equipped for all ages.
Decor and furnishings are a little old fashioned but in good order generally but if you have a need for privacy you may find this a problem. The house is on a very quiet cul de sac with only a little traffic but the front door opens directly onto the road. The family next door have 2 children whose playground with their dogs and goat the road becomes. They were in no way noisy or anything other than completely polite but show me a kid that can't resist glancing through the windows in passing! Also the garden area has little or no privacy for the same reason and there is no gate to stop small children or pets wandering onto the road.
Unless you have concerns with the above we would recommend this gite which offers peace and comfort and extremely good value for money especially when full
