The wind blowing from the Atlantic ocean was gusty during my stay. Nevertheless for surfers this is a paradise. I did a bit of kite surfing which is not hard to get a hang of it.

Its a very peaceful, clean and beautiful beach. If you are looking for a chilled back relaxing vacation then Vieux fort is great but if you like adventure then i would recommend Castries, Rodney Bay, etc.

We walked along this sandy beach on our 1st morning in St Lucia, its on the Atlantic side so there were Wind and Kite surfers out on the sea. White sands, warm waters, peace and tranquility. Several young men were clearing the beach of litter as we walked and swam off this beach.

Best beach on the island.
Several small places to eat, good food.
Kite surfing and wind surfing rentals
Great swimming / medium sized waves. Sand as far as you can see in every direction
The best part of this beach, no one hassling you ever. You park under the trees, walk to the beach, and enjoy.
I would recommend staying on this south east end of the island - so much better than the northern end of the island. Quiet, very friendly people, beautiful beaches and waterfalls.
