Beatrice & George share their house with guests while making them feel like family. Our room was spotless, attractively decorated & very comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the tide come in. Our hosts know the area intimately & added to our enjoyment with stories & information. BONUS, the breakfast was huge & delicious with a lot of homemade goodies. And don't let Beatrice's modesty mislead you, her biscuits are really good! Potential guests should be aware that the rooms are upstairs but worth the climb.
Booked this B and B at the last minute as a place to stay within an easy distance of Shelburne and the Birchtown Black Loyalist centre. A happy accident indeed. Our hosts were welcoming and accommodating; the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast generous and wonderfully cooked.A special couple, Beatrice and George!
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for one night. The catamaran was late arriving and we pulled in around 10:00 pm. Alana was waiting up for us. The next w morning we awakened from a great night's sleep. We had a fantastic breakfast and booked the Inn for our return a week later. Getting ready to return a week later we were notified "the CAT" broke down and we had to leave from Digby. We were forced to cancel our reservation, it was out of our control. We were so anxious to return and they were wonderful about canceling our reservation. I recommend this place wholeheartedly!
