We were visiting Landmark and needed a bed for the night. The hotel offered a good price for B&B and we knew exactly what to expect and were not disappointed. Parking is at the back of the hotel and a good few spaces. Our family room had a double and a single bed and was a good size. It was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic. We had a brilliant stay and would stay again.

We never stayed here but we ate here each night.

We had wondered about eating somewhere else but this place is amazing.

The food is fresh local produce and they have an excellent chef.

I am a very fussy eater, and will send back my food if it is not cooked properly, or if it does not taste good. I have to say I salivated over every dish DELICIOUS !! doesn't get much better than this.

Well done guys, you have the food nailed !!

Stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel itself is nice while being a little rough around the edges. The food however is fantastic. Served in the bar, but the two meals were brilliantly cooked, with a daily fish special.

Ideally located for walks around Carrbridge.

This is rated as a three star hotel, on that basis and also the very reasonable discounted price of £60 for a double room it represents superb value for money especially bearing in mind that a few miles down the road in Aviemore domestic B&Bs are looking for that sort of price per head.

The Cairn appears to be well on its way through a refurbishment. Our room (Livet) was spacious enough, recently recarpeted with largely new matching pine furniture, a comfortable bed and nicely equipped en suite with a good Mira shower.

The food was good and again excellent value for money

3 of us stayed in one room, room was very rundown and in need of an update. mildew stains on the bathroom ceiling.
shower gave barely more than a trickle. one plug sockets hanging off the wall and one plug socket if you turned it on. it turned the TV off or vice versa (turn tv on the light in it would flicker)

however staff were lovely, breakfast was amazing and the beers in the pub were cheap.
